Hello sweeties
The american goverment is trying vote thru a new legislation that will enable the goverment to shut down websites that we love like youtube, facebook etc.

Just watched them videos thats just crazy, basicly like take a nuke to a city because they have crime, not every1 that lives there is breaking the law. Am sure it'll neva happen but still kinda worrying that it has even be brought up.

The problem is that the bills have so many lobbyist and atm the majority of the mebers in the senate do actually suport this bill so if nothing really big happens the bills will pass

I'm glad someone sees it my way. No offense to anyone that likes Failbook, MyFail and whatever other crap that exists out there, but I'm sick and tired of people continuously bugging me to sign up to these things. They're more pointless, less useful and less fun than WoW.
Edit: Keep youtube, that does come in useful for a place to share videos. The only problem with it is people constantly breaching copyright laws, which google (owns youtube) should really be dealing with. By shutting it down, people like us that want to watch a boss kill, or funny video of some guy that can't dance, end up having something fun taken away for a reason that had nothing to do with us.

Its not the being pestered to join that affects me, my circle of friends largely isnt that into social networking, (irl)conversations tend to be more about women, beer, cars, golf, and other important stuff like that  , its that little blue square with an 'f' in it that you seem to see everywhere nowadays, and stuff like 'join us on facebook and tell us how you brush your teeth' kind of patheticness that plagues pretty much all TV advertising nowadays, I just see it as a decline in society, where people are encouraged to share every trivial little detail of their lives, that noone in their right mind cares about anyway, with the world.
Oh and it also slows down our raiding, constantly waiting for dave and chaz to get off FB every time we have a boss wipe

Most people I know use facebook but i dont personally.These sites are never good imo coz generally people act one way on facebook and another way in life.Not everyone does but I think we are just generating a new batch of social retards.
I experienced this myself yesturday,I have a new hot neigbour and we've been txting loads nps.Happily chatting away.I goes round for coffee and it felt well weird for first 20mins,once we both got chatting things were fine but its the whole impersonal touch of txts that makes it easier to act how u want.Is this good thing?Granted I took cammys advice and got my cock out as she answered the door strapped a watch to it and said "hey baby wanna see time fly!"
But yeah..dont really know what point Im trying to make but Im sure theres one in there somewhere.Personally dont care if facebook dies but I still think these bills are stupid idea!

The subject is not about if facebook is good or bad. The bills will effekt so much more then facebook.
Youtube and Google is 2 big sites that have to shut down. All places that ppl can link stuff and show videos make bossvideos and other fun stuff. All forums will be shut down that have links or videos that have copyrighted material on it.
