- Your Name: Jake Pears
- Age: 18, 19 in the summer
- Location: Leicester - England
All below questions are related to the character wishing to apply.
- Name: Anira
- Race: Night Elf - Female
- Class: Warrior
- Level: 85
- Spec: Fury MS. Protection OS, which is a little under geared but I am working on it.
- Prior Guilds: Naissance - Horde and Blood Requiem Alliance.
- Reason why you left your last guild: With Naissance I joined as a Social until I was geared enough to Raid, when I was deemed geared enough I made an application as a Raid Trial, and after 2 weeks no-one responded to it, well people did, but not an Officer with a decision. So me and my friend left to join the Alliance. This is where I joined blood Requiem as a Raid Trial, but I was never picked to go on Raids, which was like Naissance all over again, so I had enough and left.
- Do you have more lvl 85 chars, if so, what classes and on which server: This is my only level 85 and main.
- Gear: Armory url: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/daggerspine/anira/simple
- Gear: Special notes: I have every piece of gear I can get from Heroics/Reputation, all I have left to get are raid/valor badge loot I am nearly Exalted with Therazane so a few more Heroics and I have the Exalted shoulder enchant. Which won't take long at all.
- Trade Skills: Professions: 525 Mining. 460 Blacksmithing, which I am working on as I speak, by farming Obsidium to utrn into Folder Obsidium to craft with. So this will be max in no time at all. But I do have the Bracer/Gloves extra sockets and the belt buckles.
- Trade Skills: Rare Crafts: None as of yet, hoping this will change in the future.
- Riding skill (mount): Epic flying but not the master flying (310% mount speed).
- Experience with raids/instances pre Cataclysm: WOTLK = Naxxramas 10 12/12 or was it 11/11? Naxxramas 25 4 or 5/12. Ulduar 7/12, I have experience of these bosses though some of which we did not kill. OS10 and 25; ToTC10 5/5; ToTC25 5/5; OS25+3D; Malygos 10 not 25; ICC10 11/12 and Lich King to 50%; ICC25 6/12 with experience of Blood Queen and ICC10 HC 2/12. Most of the ICC raids were raids I have led myself because I was an Officer of both of the raiding guilds I was in during the expansion.
- Experience with Cataclysm raids: BWD - 4/6: Magmar; Omnitron; Maloriak and Atramedes. I have also experienced Chamereon (can never spell his name properly) but not killed him yet.
- Experience in the game (Entertain us with a nice story): My best all time memory of WoW was ICC10 on Rotface, we were progressing on him for like 2 months, on on one raid night we started wiping due to a slacking tank but Rotface was down to 1.5% (round about) with lots of DoTs up on him and just before the last guy alive died Rotface died due to the DoTs, were so happy and vent erupted. That kill was so lucky.
- Are you Applying for another guild while Applying for TBO? No I am not.
- Have you used a Leveling service?: Never, levelling is so easy now-a-days with Bind on Account gear and Recruit a Friend, plus the reduced levelling experience in old expansions.
- Did you buy your account from Ebay?: No, never. Like I siad, levelling is really easy.
- Have you grouped with any TBO members before?: Never met any of you guys before, though I would very much like to.
- Usual Gaming time per day / week: Every day of every week you will catch me online at least once. Most days of a week i will be online from half 4 PM (GMT, 5PM server time) onwards, except for Tuesday's; Fridays and weekends.
- Can you use TeamSpeak?: Yes I can, though I will need to re-download it, but this will not be a problem. I also have a working headset with microphone and I am not too shy to speak, especially during raids where I may be required to speak.
- Do you share your account with another person? I never share my account, not with family/friends/anyone else. To make sure this stays this way I have bought an authenticator.
- Reason for wanting to join The Blade Order: Because The Blade Order have good steady progression through current content, that is what I like from guilds. From what I've heard you have a nice, friendly atmosphere and that is one of the important factors of picking a guild, the atmosphere and the people in it. And I believe I could make a good addition to your guild and possible raiding teams, because I make the effort with raiding and the people; I show up fully prepared and repaired. I don't know if the guild is doing Hard modes yet, but if they are I will gear myself as well as I can so I can help with progression in any way I can, and if they aren't I will try my best to make that a reality.
- Have you read, understood and agree to our rules of membership?: I have read, understood and agree to your rules of membership and looting.

Even Officers have a life outside the game and that makes the application take some time before all have had their input.

Hey, off topic a bit but I was looking at your gear, you should probably put an Etched Demonseye in your helm instead of the Bold Inferno Ruby. You'll gain 10 strength and 20 hit by going for that socket bonus. The socket's for a blue gem so it's understandable to just ignore that and go for a red gem, but you've overlooked the socket bonus. It's only a small gain, but tbh it's worth going for.
Other than that, I can see that you're geared about as well as you can be outside of raiding, good job on that.
I wouldn't turn you down, but I can't make the call. Good luck on the application. You seem like a nice guy.

Hi Anira,
Thanks for your patience concerning you application, the discussion is well underway though so you should have a final answer fairly soon. I have been trying to catch you online to chat in person but you are a hard man to find
There has been a point brought up however concerning raiding, and the reasons for you leaving your last guild. So a couple of facts just to make sure you are aware of what to expect.
While TBO do raid fairly regularly, we do not raid every night of the week – I would say on average 3-4 times a week, sometimes less – sometimes more, depending on who is online.
When raiding the members are called and people are picked as you would expect, however as a newcomer to the guild you will have a lesser priority to spots while you are still ranked as a newcomer, so you may miss out on being chosen for raids to begin with (Only if there are too many people interested, and too few spots) – As this was your main reason for leaving your past 2 guilds you can understand why this may raise some concerns.
As I say I say this is purely to keep you in the know, and informed. Wall of text over.
Hed's dead baby, Hed's dead.

Ok, thank you very much, unlike the other guilds I wasn't told of anything like that from the off-set, they pretty much made out that I would be taken no problem. And with Naissance I was never even granted a Raiding Trial even after making an app to which I did not get a reply to. I do not have a problem with what you said, and I am glad you are honest. The thing that prompted me to leave my old guilds were that I was not taken to raids at all (Blood Requiem), which made me wonder why they even bothered to accept my application in the first place, where-as in Naissance I could only go on the odd alt raid, of which I was only taken twice. So I think you understand where I am coming from and why I had to leave.
