check it out! speeded up my mates broadband from 2mbps to 4mbps...they're really cheap as well, for around £7 i'd give them a go  i will be when i get broadband sorted in my flat

noes!! adsl ftw!!  tbh i would've went for virgin aswell, but other flatmates wanted Sky TV, so went for tht. But its a pretty good increase in speed for such a tiny price, any other asdl users out there, i'd recommend a quick 5mins peek at this.

I have to agree,cable is the way to go if u are lucky enough to be able to get it in your area.Im paying for 20MB broadband and i actually get somthing like 19.3MB which im really happy with.
So many people now adays are paying for say 8MB broadband and are only getting 1/2MB.I go here to check my speeds as not all of them are accurate www.speedtest.net.Check your speeds and if u are one of the many who are paying for more than ur getting phone ur ISP up and kick there ass! |

theres loads of reasons why u never get the maximum 8mb, reason one, "upto 8mb" , reason to depends on the distance u are from the nearest phone exchange, obviously the further u are, the more delay...and the other i can think of is the interference along the line, this "Iplate" from BT fixes the interference at ur end and increases the speed...i also use speedchecker.net, and my mate at work does, and he noticed +2mb after applying the Iplate. So i'd advise one.
