I had this idea and wandered if i could get some feedback from officers of TBO. Quite often i need to call upon my fellow guildys to make use of their professions, the problem i have is i dont know who can do what.
What i was thinking was maybe an officer could write next to each of our names the professions we can do. For example next to my name it normally says (2)main,dps. So instead we could have it saying (2)main,dps(Miner/BS).I will help anyone out in the guild with my professions and i feel by doing this all a fellow guildy has to do is check whos online and try to find someone with the profession they are seeking.
So what do ya think? |

There is plenty of space there for both. You could have whether they are tank, healer, dps and their professions as well as raid points.
I myself will even go through it all and update the professions and class/roll e.t.c.Then once it is done it will be easy to keep on top of.If an officer is happy to grant me permission to adjust notes i will go through and sort it all out. Then once i am finished i can pass the reins back so to speak.
Anyhoo,i leave it to the officers to decided whether it is viable. |

Altoholic is a great addon that allows you to share info between guildies, about all your chars on every server.
If a guildie allows "sharing" then you are able to inspect their proffs on all chars and vice versa, and allows you to link your own alt proffs to none guildies etc. it is just a suggestion, and you guys may have been using it for years, but its sort of new to me so i thought i would share it with you. |

I think its a nice idea, one we used to do a long while ago. Peoples spec (ie tank/dps/healer) can fit nicely into officernote, so just raidpoints and professions would be fine in guildnote. Having said that you can ofc just ask in guildchat
