Hey, i kinda hate doing BG's and i think they're an awful way of farming for gear. It requires no skill, rewards the people who does NOT follow the groups goal (HK-farming retpallys who get double the honor compaired to everyone else even while not contributing to the group) and therefore i kinda slack while doing BGs.
Is this against guild rules? |

Yeah, thats why im checking on the forum, how to treat that rule. Since there might be a chance you didn't really care about if im being a bitch in PVP while being serious in PVE, when the PVP-system is somewhat broken atm. Like i said, as a healer trying to take/defend bases i get half of the random's honor per game, wich is kinda irritating. So i figured until that gets fixed ill just afk in bgs while watching a movie or something.
Blizzard has on the other hand spoken about implementing more skill measurement in BG's and i hope this will solve stuff.
Until then ill probably leave the guild with one or two alts and continue farming honor like this with those chars. |

The PVP system is far from broken, especially now with the dual spec out since PVE oriented players can have a spec they enjoy doing PVP with.
And you finished 1st on the Battlegroup in 2v2 Arena if I am not mistaken, so I assume you got both the required skills and gear to participate in a Battleground game even if most of the players don't know what their doing.
Not to mention the fact that PVP gear doesn't require any more Marks of Honor, so I see little to no point wasting your time being AFK inside a Battleground.

An alternative ofc is to try and put together some premades. Theres quite a few guys in the guild who do enjoy PvP to whatever degree, and always plenty of randoms to pickup to fill the gaps. Rather than just add to the problem of everyone else in BG's slacking. |
