This is what ko and i get today when we try to logg into wow. and it seems more players have gotten this today after we checked some forums and stuff. anyone have any info about this at all? if we delete it, we cant start the game at all, and need to repair it from the beginning.
we use F-secure.

DON'T PANIC
It's just a false positive that was an accidental in the latest Kaspersky definitions (among other AV suites), it is already submitted for correction and has been discussed on the forums (many other executables are popping the same exact false positive, not just the WoW.EXE). I will say that this was the first true false positive I've had with Kaspersky in many years so it was certainly unnerving at first!
If you are paranoid like me, I still suggest changing your password at the earliest convenience. I did.

Thanks stef, i also found some good info about it on the technical support forums on the europe realm. now im trying to re-install the game, but for some f'ing reason i cant install TBC since "there isnt enough space on the disc" baaah its over 400 gb free ffs...

As a comp. engineer student, i advice you to use Kaspersky.
My comp. infected many times when im using Norton. Im using Kaspersky for 3 years and everything works fine. Also you can check statistics in kaspersky labs site. You ll see kaspersky is number one.
I played Classic until I was nearly level 60. It needs The Burning Crusade really for me though. I am lurking around Daggerspine again for a while, trying to get used to the changes lol
