Enchant weapon - Deathfrost

I got this badboy yesterday, and there is alot of questions about how good it really is, so here are some facts about it -
Permanently enchant a weapon so your damaging spells and melee hits occasionally inflict an additional 150 Frost damage and reduce the target's melee, ranged, and casting speed by 15% for 4 sec. Requires a level 60 or higher item
Patch 2.4.0 (3/25/08): Added
Proc rate appears to be 10-12.5%
Has no internal cooldown, can refresh itself but does not stack. Procs off both white and yellow attacks.
Does debuff Raid Bosses.
Does not stack with Thunderclap. Debuff replaces Thunderclap and is bigger than Thunderclap. Further Thunderclaps continue to do damage/threat as normal but does not further slow the target.
For curious Frost Mages, enchant is affected by Arctic Winds 5% damage bonus, and Winter's Chill crit debuff. Not affected by spelldmg or Piercing Ice or Ice Shards.
Replaces debuff from [Riftmaker].
So if you think its sounds as good as it looks, then give me a whisp and ill hook ya up  the mats are piss easy, only 2 primal shadows, and 2 primal water.

Thunderclap with talents is 20% slowed attack speed, so the enchant shouldnt replace that?

I hope they have made mecanics so it only override if its not specced thunderclap.

ah yes, good call shen. But this is 15 % melee, ranged, and casting speed by 15% for 8 sec (it says 4 seconds on my OP, but thats a typo)
and it works on raidbosses, where thunderclap, to my knowledge, has zero effect?

Thunderclap works on raid bosses, i used it when i tanked prince so he didnt cream me as much.

Its cool, hardly anyone puts talents in Thunderclap anyway, so it'll be left on 10%, and it only reduces melee attack speed, and the threat it causes is hardly a reason to use it if theres a dps that can do a 15% debuff. So its still gonna sell, if you can find someone that doesnt want Executioner/Mongoose/Soulfrost/Sunfire

Seen as I can't afford the MATS for mongoose. This does seem like an alternative (for the time being)
