some may know this poem i think.. it's called "do not stand at my grave and weep" it's a popular poem and considered writen by Mary Elizabeth Frye (1904-2004).. some also say that it's origins are based on native americans..
do not stand at my grave and weep
i am not there, i do not sleep.
i am a thousand winds that blow
i am the diamond glints on snow.
i am the sunlight on ripened grain
i am the gentle autumn rain.
when you awaken in the morning's hush
i am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
i am the soft stars that shine at night.
do not stand at my grave and cry;
i am not there, i did not die.
Didn't know till i make some research about the poem, u may recall a quest from WoW, a little girl called Alicia in SW wants u to take her poem to her friend in Aldor Rise in shattrath.. it's a beautiful WoW version of the original poem;
do not stand at my grave and weep,
i am not there, i do not sleep.
i am in a thousand winds that blow,
across northrend's bright and shining snow.
i am the gentle showers of rain,
on westfall's fields of golden grain.
i am in the morning hush,
of stranglethorn's jungle, green and lush.
i am in the drums loud and grand,
the thunderous hooves across nagrand.
i am the stars warmly gleaming,
over darnassus softly dreaming.
i am in the birds that sing,
i am in each lovely thing.
do not stand at my grave and cry,
i am not there. i do not die.
the quest and the poem is a small memorial to a wow player who died of leukemia.
I played Classic until I was nearly level 60. It needs The Burning Crusade really for me though. I am lurking around Daggerspine again for a while, trying to get used to the changes lol
